TABOO THREAD: Religion and Politics!

Post by sportsbettingman » Tue Mar 25, 2008 5:55 am

It may have been the result of conspiracy theories subconsciously programmed into my head...but I had a dream Barrack Obama was indeed a "secret" Muslim, and that he lost to McCain in a close race.

I just can't see a traditionally "Christian" country voting even a falsely rumored to be "Muslim" for president.

If the Democrats drop the ball in what looked like such an easy year for them to dominate the presidency...I'll just shake my head at their failure to put a winner out there.

Lance, I believe you have more charachter in your pinkie than whatever resonates through Barry Bonds body. You like Bonds, I despise him. Its what makes America, America. ( I think I hear 'God bless America' in the Background, much like Oliver Wendall Douglass on 'Green Acres')

America and Americans (Like your childhood faith in Bonds) will make mistakes. But we'll make the best damn mistakes in history! And through it all we'll perservere for the same reason, because we are Americans!

This message was not endorsed by Lance Turbes for President.

Is the Obama-Hillary battle a battle to lay claim to the faster riser up the political food chain?

Is ANY Presidential candidate for the people anymore?

Should the smarter folks in this country bear the burden of creating a revolution?

How long must we wait before this needs intervention (the Bullshit political system)?

I need to go to bed.

~Lance yes...his name is ron paul, but he speaks the truth and most ppl aren't ready for that...yet.

yes...we are definitely long overdue for a revolution.

i fear we can't wait much longer, bush has already formed an alliance w/ canada & mexico (behind our backs w/out congressional approval), i know this will sound like some crazy conspiracy theory, but the new world order is on it's way.

[/QUOTE]He speaks the truth to the extent he knows it, which however is limited. I guess that's an improvement over the alternative, but a better one would be someone capable who is not a party-affiliated Dem or Rep.
