Who else is excited about this movie that opens on thursday this week!

I'm a big Terminator fan and the movie looks to be petty good from the previews I've seen.

Aside from casting the little kid with the flowing super clean fro (they better explain how he keeps it so well maintained)...it looks awesome.

I still haven't seen Terminator 3...but one and two were classics, and this one looks like it could be the best if done right.

WOW, looks like Joe Blanton to me. :D

Seriously, the previews didn't appeal to me whatsoever....but then again, not many movies being made nowadays are appealing.

I've seen all 3 and #2 was far and away the best. I imagine you guys will walk out of the movie theatre disappointed after #4.

Not even remotely interesting. Agree that #2 was by far the best. Most were disappointed with #3 but I liked it.

1) It doesn't feel right having a Terminator movie without Arnold. Period.

2) Nick Stahl played a grown up John O'Connor in Terminator 3. It seems stupid to replace him with Christian Bale.

Gran Torino was the last movie that I really enjoyed.

Found this in the liner notes of my Terminator DVD:

The role of the Terminator was originally going to be portrayed by O.J. Simpson. But, according to James Cameron in 1984, "people wouldn't have believed a nice guy like O.J. playing the part of a ruthless killer." **

**James Cameron as quoted in Esquire Magazine, March 1995

Gekko's probably planning to go see it once or twice a week, no matter how much he doesn't like it the first time around. ;)

Good movie and some nice action scenes, but I still think Terminator 2 was better. Not a bad summer movie...I'm really looking foward now to the GI Joe movie in August.
