Signup List For 2006 NFBC Satellite Leagues

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Feb 01, 2006 3:49 am

Okay, we filled the $100 league on Feb. 28th that pays out three spots. Let me know if I have anyone on the wrong list there or we'll close it out. Thanks everyone and we'll have some fun on the 28th!

Greg, I didn't see myself listed on the February 28th, $250 satellite. Because of the full house in the March 7th satellite, could you please move me to the 28th? Thanks.

Dan

I'm glad you're signing up for the 28th $ 250 league. While the other satellite leagues seem to all be filled, or almost filled, there are only 6, or I guess 7 now, signed up for this $ 250 Feb 28th.

Question - I already have one of the free basic mockdraftcentral accounts. Is that being upgraded to a premium membership for participating in the Satellite draft?

I apologize for not updating every list today. I'm just trying to dig out from a magazine deadline and then I'll be more active on the boards. Thanks everyone and we'll finalize these soon.

I'll probably reach out to the satellite league owners before Feb. 15th for the leagues that are fill and seek permission to run payments. Once we do that, we can pull the random draft slots, ask for your Draft Preferences and then slot everyone. It looks like some of these leagues could have 2-3 weeks of preparation for their draft spots, which should be good for everyone.

Stay tuned on that as we'll need to make sure everyone has their Draft Preferences set before we do this. I'll make an announcement next week.

Now back to the magazine.

Okay, we filled the $250 league on Tuesday, Feb. 21st. Thanks everyone and I'll be in touch with these 15 owners next week. Maybe we can set a Feb. 10th deadline to set your Draft Preferences and pick the order for that league. That would give you 11 days to prepare for your draft spot. Sound good?

I mean, we only put out 16 fantasy sports titles last year, ran two Trade Conferences and two live high-stakes events between the two of us. Anyone interested in moving to Iola, Wisconsin (population, 1,211)?? :D

Hello Greg

I would be interested in know more about your company and exactly what type of business that you run. What type of salary would you be looking at in hiring another person??

Please contact me at [email protected] and I would love to chat with you.

PS

I would love to play one of your leagues too.

Are they Roto or h2h leagues??

Thanks for your time!!

James

pancho, I'm in the 2/21 800-300-150 and sent Greg a note the other day asking to be moved to 2/28. If he takes care of that, there should only be one slot left.

Edit: done. Thanks to Greg and Tom.

I was just going through the March 7th, $100, Free 2007 NFBC Entry (winner-take-all) Satellite league and noticed there are at least 4 past champions, with 1

I believe taking #2 overall.

My question is, can you spot us rookies say a dozen stolen bases and a 6 pak of saves? :D

If nothing else, us "rookies' will get schooled by these accelerated students, no doubt...
It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

Schooled?

Spot?

I back down from no one

I fully expect to take this league given a reasonable healthy squad ( always an if but only thing out of your control )

Kind of maybe like the A team used to? He lives in Pennsylvania I would pay travel expenses.
