Weekly Poll: Cubs Are Favored

We left this weekly poll up a little longer than usual to see who was the favorite to win this year's World Series according to the NFBC members. In a competitive poll, the Chicago Cubs were picked to end almost 100 years of futility by winning the 2004 World Series. Is that a jinx or the right prediction? Only time will tell. Here are the final results:



27% - Chicago Cubs

25% - New York Yankees

18% - Boston Red Sox

17% - Others (Houston led the way)

5% - Philadelphia Phillies

4% - Oakland A's

3% - Atlanta Braves

1% - Florida Marlins
