Did you guys know that the first year of the NFBC, we drafted clockwise around the table? Every event after that, both football and baseball, has gone counterclockwise.

My league drafted counter clockwise in Vegas in 2004 and in Chicago in 2005.

Looks like the draft setup is different in each city then.

In 2004, I draft clockwise but did it counter-clockwise in 2005. Guess we will do it one of the other ways this year.

By the way, here's how I know the setup was different in 2004 than in 2005. By incredible coincidence, the same person (Matthew Ross) sat to my left for the NFBC in both 2004 and 2005--any statistics gurus out there want to take a crack at the odds on that happening? In 2004, I had the 13th pick while Matt had the 14th pick. In 2005, Matt had the 4th pick and I had the 5th.

Since Matt picked after me in 2004, and before me in 2005--yet sat to my left both years--this would clearly indicate a different setup in these two years.

Walla, you can kiss my grits! If I remember the amount of leagues in NY in 2004 correctly, the odds on that happening in two consecutive years would be 9,916-1, pretty long odds. If it happens again in 2006, then something is really up

Every league in every city should be counterclockwise. We start the 1 spot on the left-hand side and go counterclockwise. Thanks KOQ for the heads up. I'll fire Rocky on Monday for the screwup in 2004. :D

Well, unless you're one of the facilitators looking out at the nfbc gamers, he'd be going clockwise...

Ok, slap me for being a smart @zz!! :D

Greg, can we skip the serpentine draft and all sit in a circle while a girl in a bikini spins a rotating draft board to face each of us as our turn comes up? Now that you've freed up some room in payroll you can hire her...
