Top 5 Reasons to Draft in Chicago

Post by Navel Lint » Sun Jan 22, 2012 11:15 pm

Reason #5: You don’t have to sit and watch someone else get a giant check and trophy (apparently people with $100,000 like to go to Vegas 8-) )

Reason #4: You’re guaranteed to hear at least three of the next four phrases……
- “I really think the Cubs can win it this year”
- “I was gonna go to Vegas, but I had a thing yesterday that I couldn’t get out of”
- “New York blows!”
- “Da Bears”

Reason #3: I’ll make a video to prove to your wife that you really did just spend $1400 and 5 hours playing fantasy baseball with 44 other middle aged dorks.

Reason #2: Absolutely no beautiful, scantily clad women distracting you from your draft lists with stories of how they love nachos and Old Style and how they hang out in the bleachers all summer in their bikini’s.

Giardonos BABY! :D
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Genos East
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

And oh by the way, this is the daughter of the woman who likes to eat nachos and drink Heileman's. You really do not want to see the mother, especially in her bikini! :o
