FEB. 19 $150 Slow/Fast Draft IS NOW SOLD OUT!!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sat Feb 04, 2012 3:07 pm

Okay, I've had a couple of requests for another $150 Slow Draft League that will draft on one day. We will set the next one up for Sunday, Feb. 19th at 1 p.m. EST. We need to average 30 seconds per pick to get this one done in a reasonable time, so only sign up if you are ready to roll through 50 rounds in less than 6 hours. 15 Teams, 50 Rounds, Less than 6 hours. This is part of the Slow Draft Championship, with the draft being done in hours rather than weeks.

If this appeals to you, leave your name here and we'll get you signed up. If this format is appealing, we'll continue them on Sundays at this same time. Here's the official signup list:

Greg, will the draft window only allow 45 sec per pick or are we simply encouraging owners to make picks that quickly? The draft could get very lengthy if it's the latter, just confirming thanks.

Unfortunately for this year the shortest clock on the draft site is 90 seconds - you just have to encourage every one in your league to make Every pick Quickly.............and be vigilant in reminding them in the draft room

Thanks. Yeah, if everyone took all 90 seconds (just as an example) that's 1.5 times 750, or 1125 minutes. That's 18 hours and 45 minutes.

So what if my wife finally files the papers if I do a second one of these in back to back weeks...it's for a good cause: Torturing Gekko again! I'm in!

Dave & Mike - I doubt either of you will be able to keep up with a quick pace. Let's all make a pact to make each of our picks in less than 5 seconds. Deal?
