$375 Slow Draft - Pay Top 3 - Tiered Payout

Post by Glenneration X » Wed Feb 08, 2012 5:19 pm

Greg, do you think for the next $375, we can have a tiered payout

1st place - $2500
2nd place - $1250
3rd place - $500

...or something along those lines. I liked the $375 when top 3 won a Main Event league, but when it became a cash payout with equal cash payouts for top 3, not as much. I'd prefer a little more incentive for coming in first.

What do you think?

Glenn, I have thought of this a few times too. I think that maybe we could have a Mix of Paying the Top 3 like you outlined and the equal $1400.00 / NFBC Entry Fee Across the Board for the Top 3 finishers next year. Perhaps you could list what type of payout it is for that league and guys will signup accordingly.
I like your pay out structure for the Top 3. Simple and easy to remember!
Be interested to see what Greg / Tom think of your idea! :D

Max, doesn't look like the idea hit home.

I will do the Pay Top 3 Glenn, as long as I'm not in the Same league as RT! He beats me by one spot every slow draft I cash in! Seriously, RT find a new hobby already!!!

If Greg's gives the OK on the pay structure above or a tiered one he'd prefer, we could get the signup list going. Looks like Joe Money would be interested in another slow draft, just one that moves a bit faster. With the four of us as a start, we can probably bang something like this out in a week to 10 days easy.

Whatta ya say Greg? ;)

Let me talk this through tomorrow with Tom and others. Everything is set up to pay you guys quickly at season's end with an accounting that has exact payouts on the prize pages. This one is set up to automatically pay out at $1,400, $1,400, $1,400, but I'll see if there's a way that Tom can set it up so that at season's end we can manually change this one league. If we can and if someone makes sure we remember, we can do it. But let me check first. I know there's no way Tom or I will remember this change come October without a reminder!!!

Glenn,

I would be in as well if the timing works. I might need a little more prep time to get in the waters with you and your friends. If this was to start in 10-14 days, I'm all over it.
Joe
