Import Rankings Now Available For NFBC Online Drafts
Okay, I'm happy to announce that we now have developed the ability to Import your own Rankings into all future NFBC Online drafts. You can now update your own player default rankings and Import them for all future drafts. This should save all of you a lot of time and make multiple online drafts a very, very easy process.
Here's how it works: You now have the ability to import predraft rankings from your other teams. Each team you buy has draft rankings tied to your team. So set your rankings for your next NFBC online draft (Slow Draft or Satellite League or Online Championship League). Save them for that team. Now if you go to another team, you will have the option to import those rankings to that team with the press of one button. There is an "Import Rankings" button there for you. Each subsequent online draft you can import those rankings, even tweak them and import the new ones.
This is a very nice feature for owners who plan on doing multiple online NFBC drafts. Now the player default list will be YOUR list going forward. Take the time to set up your player default list once and online drafts will be much, much easier and much, much more enjoyable going forward. Enjoy all.
GREAT JOB IT DEPT. This is a nice addition to our NFBC online drafts.

Very nice ,very happy, dont know if it was asked before and if it was sorry ,but is there anyway to set the rankings by position instead of top 1500.Once I get past top 50 I just start confusing myself.

It would be nice if we could get rid of at least 1/2 the place holders in the default que. presently there are about 45. I would think 10-15 is more than sufficent. also maybe move 30 and move 100 buttons would help. presently if you want to move a player say 130 spots, you can hit move 50 twice and move 10 3 times in rapid usccession and it will move 130 spots. It takes some time because of the flash aspect, but there seems no way to make it faster presently. Also if it was possible to highlight a group of players in scuccesion using somehting like "shift arrow copy" or "Control A, arrow" it would then be possible to move more than 1 at a time. there is a lot of dead wood that resides from 600-1400 save for some pospects and such.
Just some ideas, but otherwise great tool once you get it setup.

Real nice feature. What would make it pure mint would be a Move to Bottom button. That way it would clear out all the players you wouldn't roster even in a 50 rd draft. In no time a person would have a pristine top 750.
Because of this addition these (FAST/slow drafts) have a chance to take off in popularity IMO. A well organized queue makes the search and destroy null and void. The later stages can easily be run by auto-draft making the last 2 hours seamless.
These drafts can also be options well into March because there is no fear they'll run into the live draft season. In addition the lack of faab won't be a deterrent to how many teams a person can operate in-season.

The 'move to bottom' is a nice idea. Another thing that would help is a search function. Right now, the only practical way I can see to find a player quickly is to open up another window showing the html source code and to search it for the position of the player of interest.
Down the road, what would be really nice (and industry-leading :-þ) is to provide a text (or maybe csv or excel) file of player names and ids that could be downloaded, manipulated locally, and then uploaded back to nfbc. A sortable, read-only excel file might be the way to go, because you cannot have people changing names or player ids.
Either way, only having to do this once is a nice step.

Agreed that this is nice for whoever wants to spend the time doing it. However Ctrl + F does not work here and I don't know about everyone else, but who creates a list 1-750 its all about positions and needs during specific points of the draft. This would be so much easier if we had to ability to do it by position. I agree the best fix for this would be to have the downloadable excel file where we can sort, then upload back up that would satisfy my needs. I appreciate everything that's being done to help us, however at least for my taste I can't sit here and try to make a list 750 deep without seeing everything in front of me. If I'm missing something on how this works please enlighten me, but that's what I'm seeing.

Bottom line is that this is a good start but it's not there yet. If exporting from excel can't be done (which I think would be somewhat difficult given the rigid data field that needs to be carried into drafts and rosters) then the sorting feature within STATS needs to be more robust. I'm not sure of the best way to go about this. Right now a 1-750 order is too time consuming. The best option is to cluster groups in a range.edelman24 wrote:Agreed that this is nice for whoever wants to spend the time doing it. Getting a player off your top 750 takes too many clicks. Maybe If the data field was broken into sortable columns ( Players name and position ) with an option to enter a number (if left blank then they fall to the bottom when resorted or saved. When completed and saved you'll then have an "order" that STATS can move to your draft room.
