I think your bench could use some improvment. I saw where Danny Hultzen was sent to the minors this weekend.

I totally agree with you. I don't like it much myself. That's what the waiver wire is for. :D

The OF is mediocre with no upside; Konerko/Loney at 1B/CI is mediocre at a position where you can't afford to be mediocre; IMO; the team really lacks power; the bench is really weak. I don't mean to be critical but I don't like this team at all.

I actually like this team. Considering it is a 15 team league, the pitching staff is strong, and I like the infield and catcher positions. OF is weak, but if Wells can bounce back, then pick up some Outfielders in free agency, you should be fine. I like Tabata this year. You have as good a chance as any.

Appreciate the comments, Lunatic.

Honestly to look at it my offense, I agreed it looked weak in power, but when I crunched the numbers, I came up with 260 HR's. According to my calculations, I have 7 players hitting 3-5 in their lineups, so RBI should be plentiful as well.

I do really like my pitching.

We shall see.

Blind squirrel,
I'm not so sure I would put any stock in the feedback from a Lunatic! (just kidding, lunatic).
I think power may be a little short but nothing that couldn't be fixed in free agency. Also, I like the OF with the exception of Seth Smith. Bruce, Boesch, and Tabata could all exceed last year's numbers. V Wells could be in trouble with another poor start but I've seen way too many times where fellow nfbc'ers give up on the older players and fantasy "experts" are usually too quick to say so-and-so player is finished. Remember Lance Berkman last year... As for your bench, LOTS of teams in your league will have an ugly looking bench by the end of the year so if BENCH is the biggest criticism, then job well done on your part.
FINAL verdict: If you do well in faab, no reason why you can't compete IMHO. good luck in your league.

Here's the part I couldn't follow. Where do you see 7 players here hitting 3-5 in their respective lineups? I'll give you Konerko, Longoria, Bruce and Jesus Montero.

Loney, Wells, and Seth Smith all should/could hit 5th. Wells may not....but feel good about other two.

your team might have 4 stud sp . price / lester / zimmerman ( i luv this year imo ) you have 3 . if pineda pans out you have 4 . hard to get 4 in a 15 man draft and not skimp on hitting . in hitting you went all in . all in with injury guys c hart / reimold / laroche . gamel who knows with that . waited to long on mi scutaro will not cut it . also you as well as the other team need more at closer . well 50 pitching . 40 -42 hitting . total 90 - 92 . i like the other team better .

Jason,

As you know, you sniped me on both Sandoval and Wieters (and Fielder too, but I knew you would! ;) ) I think your pitching is right there with mine, as you have a lot of depth there as well.

As for your hitting, I think what could hurt you is there seems to be a lot of players who are injury prone and/or haven't proven anything yet (Ackley, Gamel, Hart, De Aza, Reimold, LaRoche). Add in that I don't see Bonfacio repeating last year, and I think your bats could struggle.

Based on comments here, we seem to have very similar teams.

Good luck! :)
