Seems like a broken record for Pujols...
...deep fly out to center, double off the wall in left, etc...every single game (when he's not striking out)...no power left. I bet the Angels owners wish steriods were legal!

I'm feeling the Pujols pain also. Especially since I had the first pick and somehow talked myself out of Kemp. Even after owning Kemp last year. Even more over, I hate drafting players who just changed leagues. It was that stupid hot streak he had just before spring training ended that got me on his bandwagon.

Chris Davis went 3-4 with an HR yesterday, I'm bummed I started Pujols again. I figured 7-games for Pujols are better than 6-games for Davis...Pujols won't match this the rest of the week. Pujols 1-8 vs Blackurn (8 ERA) and Liriano (11 ERA), wow, does he suck right now.

Most at bats in baseball without a home run or stolen base....
Albert Pujols- 96 at bats- 0 hr, 0 sb
Dan Murphy- 95 at bats- 0 hr, 0 sb
Jeff Francoeur- 87 at bats- 0 hr, 0 sb
Albert Pujols- 96 at bats- 0 hr, 0 sb
Dan Murphy- 95 at bats- 0 hr, 0 sb
Jeff Francoeur- 87 at bats- 0 hr, 0 sb
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Seriously, this is funny because we have traveled through like 1/7th of the season and Dee Gordon has more HR's than King Albert!!PGromek wrote:Dee Gordon - 1

Another 0fer for Albert last night. Not even a walk. Could be going under the Mendoza line tonight.
Re: Seems like a broken record for Pujols...
benched on three of my teams all week and staying benched. this over 100 AB's now of nothing. I hate to say it, but the at bats I have seen, he looks old and slow. might he be the Adam Dunne of 2011 this year? same age too...

He looked pretty good in ST. I think hit 7 HRs. I think it's more mental than anything. He's pressing so hard that he is swinging at everything.
You know who else has sucked really bad? Robinson Cano. How do you have 1 HR and 4 RBI playing in that lineup and stadium?

Agree on Cano- his lower halfis all messed up - swinging out of his shoes. it is just amazing how many players are underperfroming this year........

Good point. Cano 4 rbi. Swisher 23 rbi and a week on DL. Some things are just unforeseeable.Hells Satans wrote:He looked pretty good in ST. I think hit 7 HRs. I think it's more mental than anything. He's pressing so hard that he is swinging at everything.
