Kiss Werth good bye
Kiss Werth good bye
Out a minimum of 12 weeks after surgery. Good luck on him coming back this year form a broken wrist and if he does, being productive. Peter Bourgous to the Nats soon.

Completely Agree. Werth is a tough loss for guys hoping he would bounce back in an improved and "healthy" lineup!
Boy, that contract is ALMOST as bad as Pujol's!

<Ring..Ring> Hello.
Hey Mike, it's me Theo. I heard the news about Werth, sorry. Listen I really like what you are doing with that team of yours and I think you guys have a great shot this year. If there is anything I can do to help out, let me know.
Thanks Theo.
Oh wait, I just thought of something. Didn't Soriano go 40-40 when he was in Washington? ...............

Lost Werth, after losing Ruben Tejada (not killer, but had a nice average for me and was scoring runs), after losing Longoria. All in one week.
Damn.
Damn.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
