Starting Dempster at Yankee Stadium is a risky proposition for most owners, but I have no better options. I'd rather risk the likely Dempster shelling than start Josh Beckett in Baltimore and again at Yankee Stadium. I should release Beckett, but guaranteed he'd start throwing shutouts the moment he leaves my roster. Ricky Nolasco in Coors Field is a scary thought too. Sadly, if Dempster goes something like 5 IP 7 ER, that would meet my severely reduced personal standards for a "quality start". Groan! :(
