You're right about the picks ahead of you. In a $500 satellite - Figgins went # 4 over all and screwed up the whole first rd. I got Bay at 11 and M-Cab coming back - which was a shocker also. You have to be prepared for anything and be ready to adjust on the fly you got the cab coming back?!?!? nicely done!

Coops has it right...have the three or four names in your hat that "belong" around 13, but I bet (a beer) that one of your top 10 will slip to you. The 13th and 18th pick is not bad...lots of great players not named Albert or A-Rod to choose from...it is the third and fourth round that can kill you...this from a guy who was 11th in year one and 14 last year...
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Imagine my shock when he was still available and only one pick before I could get him.

I had the 13th in a Sat.

I took Miggy Cabrera and Michael Young on the return. I had a chance to take Sheffield late 3rd, but instead was persuaded by the co-manager of our squad to take Marcus Giles. Sheffield went early 4th. I came back with Pedro in the 4th and was quite pleased about that selection. Would have preferred Sheff however instead of Marcus Giles.

Good luck all. Hope that helps those with the dreaded 13th pick.

Good luck on Saturday -- be sure to stop by and say hello.
