FIRST FAAB IS TONIGHT, 8 PM ET
Just a heads up to everyone that the first FAAB is tonight for all NFBC leagues except the Draft Champions Leagues where there is no FAAB during the season. Please make your bids today and FAAB will run at 8 pm ET tonight. FAAB will run every Sunday night at the same time going forward.
Also, you can set your starting lineups for tonight's game and then change your starting lineup on Monday 5 minutes before the scheduled start of each game where you have players playing tomorrow. You can get results from Houston and Texas players tonight and then move them out of your starting lineup tomorrow. Enjoy tonight's season opener and then enjoy the real Opening Day tomorrow in many MLB cities. BASEBALL IS BACK!!
Thanks to everyone for a fantastic drafting season. We couldn't be happier or prouder. Everything went well as we had a record year across the board. Thanks everyone and good luck.
Now LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!

Since everyone is tied in the standings, what's the tiebreaker in this first transaction period for identical monetary bids?

As per the NFBC league rules, since there are no tie breakers in the standings possible the team with the lowest numerical draft position would win the bid. Starting next week position standings would be used for tie breaking with the lowest draft day slot being used as the final tie breaker if necessary.Hope that helps .

OK help please.
Let's say I have a player I intend to play in tonight's game. But let's also say that might be the player I choose to drop in FAAB. When does the change take place? Would I get tonight's stats before he is dropped?
Thanks.

I don't see why it would be different than any other Sunday night waiver. New players are on your roster for the next period. Old players are yours through the current period. We just have a unique 1 game period tonight.mattjb wrote:OK help please.

OK...so in terms of setting rosters...and please shout at me if I am wrong:
We have our rosters set for tonight's game (Sunday) and then after that game we just re-set our rosters for the M-Th
upcoming period as usual where we can then re-set for the Fr-Sun period for our offensive players (but cannot change the
pitchers who are locked for M-Sunday each week)?

Re: FIRST FAAB IS TONIGHT, 8 PM ET
well it's different as the roster lock is on a Sunday at the same time as FAAB. I'm sure you're right I'm just over thinking it.JohnP wrote:I don't see why it would be different than any other Sunday night waiver. New players are on your roster for the next period. Re: FIRST FAAB IS TONIGHT, 8 PM ET
You should be able to use any players that you win in FAAB on Sunday when you set your Monday lineup. However, since lineup lock and FAAB deadline are nearly the same on Sunday, you would not be able to use any of those players in Sunday night's game(only applies to FA's from Texas or Houston anyway). IMO,that's the way that I see it.

Has anyone seen ant results yet? Last year we saw results by 5:30 PDT.
