We really can't draft another drafter in our own league ? Someone among us is really going to throw their own team under the bus to somehow "help" that team for a measly $100 entry contest ? Not happening. I think the whole field should be open. I'm really most familiar with the teams in my leagues anyway.

I hear what you are saying Steve, and I agree. In the current rules setup, you wouldn't be able to draft my team, since we are in both main events together.. That puts you at a clear disadvantage...

Thanks Steve. I actually have him in very few leagues this year.. and he almost went by me in the NY Main as well.... Considering how fast starters went off the board, I actually had to double check that I wasn't missing an injury with RA. There is probably no way he repeats last season.. but I had to take a shot, at that point, as my 3rd starter. I drafted him in last year's NY Main in the 22nd round and won that league drafting from the 15 spot. Hoping he brings me luck again.

Suppose it's week 24, and a team has no chance of getting into the money in its league but they're in a heated battle with someone in this contest (at which point this is a $1500 league, the same as 3rd place money in the main) ... it could happen, and I wasn't comfortable with this league having even a remote chance of directly effecting an outcome.

You've already got action on your own team, this is a chance to compete on someone else's. Part of the amusement here is to see which teams get drafted and how well they do - everyone picking their own team skews that.

Jeff snaked me with my top choice but Quahogs Vegas still has the same guy doing the faab and unbelieveable also has Miggy Cabrera again. If that isn't and argument for 3rd round reversal...I don't know what is. I am not sure it would matter. A good safe choice and certain to not make it back to me in the 2nd round. Quahogs Vegas is my selection.

I went to the live standings page and then clicked through from there. Then again, I had a pretty short list, as I don't know the pool as well as some others here. I'm totally going to get crushed in the endgame.
