Re: Chris Davis
If he keeps this pace up he will lead the majors with 432 RBIs.ALL-IN JD wrote:Think he is in zone a bit?? Pitches must be looking like beach balls!!

Re: Chris Davis
Not bad for a 10th rounder.
Meanwhile, no one wants to pitch to Stanton in front of Placido Polanco or Greg Dobbs? He's getting walked 30% of the time and is otherwise 1-7 (I'm guessing he's not seeing many good pitches in those ABs, either). Might be a long season for giancarlo teams.

Re: Chris Davis
Don't worry Stanton owners.. the ESPN writer continually says batting protection is a myth. He'll get his 40hr and 100rbi. No worries ! ...

Am I the only person who thinks Stanton is overrated this year? I know lineup protection is a myth but that lineup has to have a negative impact on his numbers and he can't seem to stay healthy.

I don't agree. Doesn't mean Stanton will get 600 at-bats, but I think this is one of the top power hitters in the game. I don't care about his lineup; as long as the guy hitting after him isn't the pitcher, Stanton will hit. And we want him to be patient and take walks. It's good.

Guy is going completely ape shit right now.
Nice for the Morse/Davis owners especially. Throw in an Adam Jones and you have the perfect trifecta to start the season. Only own Morse in a few places, but not the other two unfortunately.

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

Must look like a soccer ball coming over the plate to him right now, just mashing.
