Is that four or five teams taken from my league? Damn ... tough track, or resounding rejection of my draft? Don't answer that, please.Texas Connection wrote:Pollos Hermanos, Ronny Mor. another mar 30 Las Vegas 1 Main Event Team. Just thinking the same thing with three (verrrry good teams of course) taken from my league including two in the first round! Damn long year coming up, I guess.Jeff Erickson wrote:Is that four or five teams taken from my league? Damn ... tough track, or resounding rejection of my draft? Don't answer that, please.
I can do that, in cash next Spring in LV?King of Queens wrote:I'll put $500 on the Field. Any takers?

As discussed/clarified: I have 64 teams to win the overall title, you have the undrafted 371 teams to win the overall title.King of Queens wrote:DoneKJ Duke wrote:I can do that, in cash next Spring in LV?King of Queens wrote:I'll put $500 on the Field. Any takers?
I would take KOQ's side of the bet as well, except that the field includes a pair of Massotto teams, which drops the "real" odds to 64 to 369.KJ Duke wrote:As discussed/clarified: I have 64 teams to win the overall title, you have the undrafted 371 teams to win the overall title.KJ Duke wrote:I can do that, in cash next Spring in LV?King of Queens wrote:I'll put $500 on the Field. And an update on the KOQ side contest - The 64 seeds occupy five of the top 10 spots with a high of second place (MadcowBama), while KOQ's field has the top spot (All-in) and of course the other five top 10 spots.
Roger, I missed this post last week. Thanks for the analysis and thanks even more for the faith in me and my team.Rog wrote:All kidding aside, this was a pretty unique idea and very interesting to watch play out. I would have liked to see a bit more commentary on why each pick was made, but all in all a fun spectator sport.
Good luck to all who took part in this experience, and that goes double for Roger.
Hoping you take your/my team to a top 5 finish
I wanted to add some write ups to my picks ,but been pretty hectic around here. I will do one on why I picked yours though.
good power/good speed/batting average not there but you are not locked in to some of them players. You can drop them with no second thoughts but if they hit at all for you the upside is there.
pitching staff is solid ,it isnt going to make anybody say wow but it has the capability of putting up the numbers you are looking for.
Add in your ability to faab and manage your roster ,I think your team can turn into a contender.
Now dont screw it up
Alright Stadtmueller, a little less effort on this DTD league and little more focus on that LV March 30 Mudhens team...KJ Duke wrote:Standings after Week 2
