Anyways, just for fun, I'd like to guess what the percentages for smart phone use is here at NFBC...maybe greg would be willing to do a poll on what different people at NFBC use. I'm guessing guys like Dave Potts uses a Droid, guys like MTM uses an iPhone and guys like Kenyon a dumb phone, with overall ratios being something like 40% 30% and 30% respectively. Any other guesses?
And more importantly, I'm glad folks are enjoying the app. The thread went off in a different direction than anticipated, but it's all been in good fun. Once KJ sees this app hopefully he agrees that it's a nice addition for NFBC owners. That's the goal of this: To make this game more enjoyable and your "jobs" much easier. I think being able to make a lineup change on your phone at any point in the day is a big, big, big help for our customers. And with each new innovation, STATS continues to improve the game experience for our customers. Next up: improvements to the live experience.
Why are iPhone apps usually done first? For all of the obvious reasons, but also because the approval process usually takes so long. I can say that in our case it was probably only 3-4 working days, which surprised us. We expected up to two weeks to get this approved. I would expect the Android app to be done and approved soon as well. And then I really expect to see this thread changed in a different direction.
