My Kingdom for a "W"

Post by Atlas » Thu May 23, 2013 10:58 am

This is why I'm dead last (by far) in wins:

Hector Santiago: 6IP 3H 9K 2ER ...loss
Madison Baumgarner 7 IP 4H 5K 1 ER...ND

All season long!!

Slow day...I got Porcello going tonight

I feel your pain bro. Though I am having a decent season in the W column (even with Hamels) this, I have been through entire seasons where I could not buy a win. Very frustrating.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

You are not alone. How about this.

I am first in ERA, Whip and innings pitched in my league and 10th in wins.

Have had an unreal run of bad luck.
