We're happy to report that SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio will be broadcasting our two NFFC Diamond Leagues live from Las Vegas on Sept. 6-7. This will be the first time that they've broadcast any high-stakes draft live in its entirety. We post this here because they are also very interested in broadcasting baseball live next year and are interested in the two Diamond Leagues we filled this year in Las Vegas. It would be great to have those drafts broadcast live as well.
Anyway, here's the details from yesterday's post and let's hope for some live action from the NFBC in 2014 on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio:
We are proud to announce that the NFFC and SiriusXM have agreed to air the NFFC Diamond League draft live from the Bellagio Las Vegas on Friday, Sept. 6th at noon ET on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio. That league is now in its 4th year and it contains some of the best owners in our industry. SiriusXM is proud to bring that draft live with commentary on every pick and interviews with these owners before and after the draft on SiriusXM 210/87.
SiriusXM will be at the Bellagio in Las Vegas the entire weekend of Sept. 5-7 and it's likely that we will also air the NFFC Diamond League on Saturday, Sept. 7th at 9 pm ET. Regular updates from Las Vegas will be a big part of that weekend as SiriusXM will have a booth at the NFFC drafts. We'll provide the latest ADPs and auction values throughout the weekend along with these live Diamond Leagues. Look for more information on this soon, but we are VERY EXCITED to finally be able to broadcast one of our big money drafts in its entirety LIVE on SiriusXM. Pretty cool.
We'll also have SiriusXM live in New York City on Aug. 30-31 for our First Weekend events. We're still working on the complete details for that weekend, but we'll likely have hosts in New York to interview our participants and provide updates from our auctions, Super and Main Events. We'll also provide live updates from Chicago and Las Vegas as part of SiriusXM's coverage on National Fantasy Football Draft Week on SiriusXM's Fantasy Sports Channel.
We couldn't be happier to be working with SiriusXM again and it provides the type of coverage our participants deserve. It's the start of making our players household names within the industry. We look forward to not only broadcasting this event live this year in the Diamond League, but branching out to live draft coverage of the NFBC Diamond League and even within our National Fantasy Basketball Championship. SiriusXM is very interested in a live hoops draft this year and the NFBKC will be expanding its offerings to a Super League and possibly an Ultimate League with a live draft in Las Vegas if demand is there. It's an exciting time for our industry and the bonus coverage makes it even more exciting.
