Before the FAAB results come down I'm going to go on record that I think I overbid on Nats catcher Ramos at $182.
I expect significant bids from the owners of Grandal and Yadier but I'm thinking $105 wod have been enough. Maybe they'll surprise me.
Will NFBC ever use Vickery FAAB?
Cheers!

omg, that buys him easliy, he has been on the dl 2x maybe 3 with a bad hammy AND suzuki has performed very well in his absensce. i think u overspent personally. we shall see. i see phegley as a MUCH better buy. on a bad team, in a good hitters park, why not play him 6x a week. i spent 25-35 on him. ramos scares me alot
. i am sure i will be wrong! just my opinion

Re: $$ Ramos $$
You're so right. I could have had him for $1 as it turns out no one else bid on Ramos.
Ruiz, Phegley and Gattis went to the guys I saw needing depth at catcher.
Oh well, I guess I'll be stuck with one dollar bids in the 2nd half.
Hope I've got the horses now that'll get me across the finish line ahead of the rest.

Don't beat yourself up. You got the guy you wanted. I so hate to hear that. I spent $77 with no second bid in one league. I wanted him, I got him, but it still sucks. I knew I was over paying going in, but felt it was worth it and I still have the third most amount of dollars left. It is what it is, I'm thankful I got him.Deadheadz wrote:You're so right. There is no figuring this out to the n'th degree. Last week for the first time in a long time I couldn't participate in the process. There is no way to handicap that. A team that had more money than me had no business not bidding at least $30 with the catchers they currently own. Tune it out my friend, it's all you can do.
