But at the same time you're double-counting homers (in slugging and HR). A better situation might be to eliminate the steals category. Still, there is no easy solution, but I look at fantasy ('rotisserie' if you're reading fantasyland--gawd that's irritating) as a different game than real baseball and I'm okay with that.
I *would* love to see a fantasy game where your hitters are in a lineup and what they do in real-life affects your team. That is to say, you have Mark Loretta get a walk 2nd in your lineup and then Delgado (3rd in your lineup) crushes a homer and you get credited for 2 rbis and 2 runs, even though in real life it was a solo shot and the walk never scored. Of course your stats couldn't be calculated until the end of the day and by the ninth inning you might have Delgado knocking himself in but it'd be pretty cool, especially reading your game summary at the end of the day.
