How much will tonight's start by Wacha impact his 2014 adp? Yeah...quite a bit...

It might reduce the hype some, but I don't think it will knock him any lower than where he should be picked (around Rounds 7-9 in my opinion). Tough spot tonight for any pitcher. His stuff still will be effective next year. Pitching against the Cubs, Marlins and Padres without a DH in May and June will not be quite as challenging as facing the Red Sox, with a DH, at Fenway, in an elimination game in the World Series. I'm willing to cut the kid some slack for tonight, but I'm not going to ride the hype either. (I like where I grabbed him in the first 50-rounder. :D )
