The NFLPA had a party the night before where Matt Linehart showed up and talked with us. Seemed like a nice guy who was tired of all the buildup and wanted to get it over with. I felt bad for him when he sat there waiting for a team to show him some love. He REALLY wanted to get picked by the Jets and make a mark in New York, but I trust he will be a star someday in Arizona.

We had good tickets on the floor, but a lot of the industry guys left by the 10th pick. I stuck around for the first round and had some fun, then went up in the balcony to hang with the Jets fans for the second round. That was more fun up there. Jets and Giants fans really get on each other. I thought I was in the middle of a Packers-Bears argument! :D

It was a great experience and a great weekend. I had meetings with MLB and the NFLPA and the interest in fantasy by both organizations and their current sponsors is encouraging. This is all a work in progress, but I think some plans were put in place this weekend that will make the NFBC and NFFC stronger, and in the future lead to even more exposure. I'm excited....and tired.

Tom and I have our first fantasy football experts draft of the season this afternoon. Are you ready for some football? :D I wonder if I'll top my record of 13 baseball drafts this year in football. I sure hope not! ;)

Oh, and seeing Radio City Music Hall was cool.
