You're right Alan.
That's the price I pay for not paying the price on a decent 1B. :D

Dan, Todd, what does the current signup list for the $250 auction look like?

Is there more than one alternate yet?
Please add me next on the list. I feel the need for some Greenberg schooling. He's got much to teach me.

After our draft, four names wanted in on both future drafts. You'll be number five.

That's what I gathered. Tossing my name into the ring in case of another Snowpacolypse. Hopefully I won't be needed.

fyi, there's mock auctions going on all the time if you just want to learn the site and settings. you just have to be logged in to RTS to see them.

I can see why you'd want to mock with people you know, of course

If all this bidding fever results in a fourth auction being scheduled, please reserve a spot for me.

I want in on any and all future 125 auctions. I think this combo of auction and SD is the wave of the future for NFBC

Ditto and put me down for the 250 auctions, too.

Reading through the posts looks like Friday's event was a major success. I'd also like to throw my name in the ring if a 4th one is planned. From the looks of it, one could get filled pretty quick.

Dan,

I would like to be in another one; preferably a $250 but would do a $125

I am in also though maybe I should do my first one first! No, seriously, put me down for the next auction that opens up. Also prefer $250 but $125 is fine as well. Sounds like we got close to a full league already! But someone give Todd a raise, please. Thanks, Dave Taylor

I too would like to add my name to the list if another one of these auction drafts is started. $125 or $250, it doesn't matter to me.

Thanks,

Where are Tom and Greg on this post? We are 14 pages in to the conversation! I am only kidding, really. But how can you not be excited about the level of energy and enthusiasm for these auction formats? Guys are coming out of the woodwork to sign up for a draft that isn't even posted yet. If there are added costs for NFBC to process these types of drafts right now, I would have no problem giving back a little on the prize structure to allow us to experiment and really run these out.

Can't really run too many of them since the auction actually occurs on another site, and they have been gracious enough to allow us to run these few on their site. I would think the NFBC would like to develop their own auction draft room, before really promoting the online auction, but obviously the popularity has to peak their interest. Maybe in 2015, we have a new overall contest in the making :o , though the fact that every draft room will need to be monitored closely for 5-6 hours might limit the amount of offerings in this format.

I'm guessing throwing darts at pictures of Doughboys and me.

I'll be seeing Greg at LABR in a few weeks. We'll talk. No promises.

That said, IF - capital I capital F we do more, they'll have to be run as standard 30 team satellite leagues since I'm booked solid through February and there won't be time in March to do a DC.

Absolutely Guys, no worries. No worries at all! It is just so addicting! I did my first in Atlantic City a few years ago with NFBC and I was immediately hooked. We will have patience. OK, I will. Can't speak for the others - ha ha.
