It really has nothing to do with the author. I respect your want and need to add to the game, it's simply one that I think is detrimental to the NFBC. I'm a person of principal and will be guided by my conscience and beliefs. It doesn't make me right, I simply have the right to play and participate in the contests as I see fit.
Fair enough. I'm not sure why there is a need to threaten to drop out and insinuate that those in support some how lack principle. Interesting point of view, Joe.
I did not mean to insinuate that those with a differing opinion lacked principle. It is my principles that guides my choices and that is what I was trying to convey.

It's really not a threat meant to sway anyones mind, it's simply the way I feel. Please do not take offense. I respect your desire to have things differently.

Thanks for explaining. No problem, Joe. I respect your opinion. I believe you are an advocate of the DC drafts (I could be wrong as I'm not on here much). Those drafts already have different price points. Is it really that much different?

To many quotes this late TParsons. The difference is that no matter the price point, every participant has the shot at the top prize. It matters not the investment, $150 or $1,000, the team that wins the overall prize in the DC walks away with the same amount of money.

Would have been great in my opinion...too bad it didn't come to fruition.

Because gimmicks don't work, that's why.
Thanks, but I didn't ask why. I asked if it is a no go. You must be Greg and Tom's new assistant. Enjoy mustache shaving duties and shoveling snow with the ergonomic shovel. Although you appear to be "in the know" regarding the NFBC business practices, you should probably look up the term gimmick so that you don't use it incorrectly next time. Use your time wisely instead of lobbying for your minimum wage increase.
Oh my, you have mistaken me for a progressive, how funny. Why don't you stop making accusations about me. I'll stop there because you're not worth my time or thought process.

No, this is not going to happen this year. It was a unique way to try to grow the grand prize for the Main Events and I appreciate the outside-the-box thinking. We want to grow the grand prizes here, too. But it's too late to get this rolling now and we want to see how the Main Events do at their current prices before adding on more dollars to each entry. Let's sell out the two Main Events we have first, forcing us to up the ante each year on the grand prizes.

Thanks all.
