I am seemingly one of the few that has thoroughly enjoyed Walla Walla. Anybody new to the NFBC must think that the comments that followed John's post were mean spirited.
Walla Walla is one of the great characters in the NFBC. He enjoys getting a rise out of the established NFBC veterans and newbies alike. When he receives comments like the one's after his post, he considers it a job well done.
Walla has quit the NFBC many times. Maybe someday, it'll be for good.
I hope not.

John has a knack for getting the old guard's dander up.
At the same time, he has a knack for letting the thread go without retaliation to comments made.
He doesn't have to defend his stance. He doesn't have to bring up past posts in a thinly veiled effort to embarrass another.
He lets things go.
It is a quality about Walla that makes him somehow, lovable.

Hahaha, he gets their dander up...
but I'm an a$$hole for pointing out hypocrisy.

You crack me up.

deadheadz, i've had dealings with you that are civil, so i think i'm somewhat objective here.
you bring attention to yourself, that's fine. you draft your teams in various styles, and most people don't see them as competitive, and you defend them endlessly. that's fine, but when you've invited criticism/critique, you have to take the lumps. i don't think people just look to slam you, just many people don't view your strategies/player evals favorably. you can take that constructively, or you can continue to thumb your nose and be confident in your abilities and stir the pot. i would hope the former...
i draft plenty of teams that people i respect look at and dismiss as a non contender. that's fine, we all project players differently. i don't feel the need to tell them they are wrong, and blindly compare this player to that player to prove a point. i've asked them for their thoughts, and they've given them.

i think you're a good addition to the community in that you certainly have views on everything :D and i hope that you and some of your "opponents" can let bygones be bygones and start from a fresh, less antagonistic, point.

First off I've said many a stupid thing on these boards. Probably not the last. I think I've grown over the last few years and now have just tried to enjoy some banter with those I know. Still I can't promise I won't say something stupid in the future.
As Ron White says "Stupid is forever!" :D
