CC's Desperados are now back on top their league and on top of the Lifetime Standings. To quote Pedro, "where you been man?"
Out of curiousity, his co-manager Kevin Deckel only has two stars next to his name, was he not apart of CC Desperados in 2004? Or is it because Kevin's 2006, the Desperados, are not in first? And under the years played shouldn't Deckel have 3 years or even four if both his 2006 teams (CC Desperados & Desperados) are factored in?

So, you think you are out of it?
I was in League 7 with CC Desperados in 2004 (and who, with all do respect to those others that finished in the money that year in LV7, ran away with it), so I kind of keep tabs on him/them hoping one day to finish in front of them...something I have very unsuccessful at!
At I believe the lowest point of the year, CC was in 312th place overall in Week 5. Without the benefit of finishing first overall in any one of the weeks, quite a run was started:
Week 5 312
Week 6 259
Week 7 220
Week 8 149
Week 9 102
Week 10 17
Not to jinx it, but way to go Shawn and Kevin. Quite a hot streak.
I am still going to catch you, but it goes to show you this thing is far from over (not that anyone has implied that, but some in the third division might feel a bit out of it)!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

NOTE TO SELF: Never bet against this man. Impressive run there CCD !

Since I bet against him this year, I am impressed with the run. If my offense could just get started, and Felix continue to improve, I could give him some trouble...(that is a lot of ifs)
However, I would like to point out my MORAL victory - I gave him a hard time about the 9th round pick of Oliver Perez and so far, I am looking right on about my jeering of that pick
Good work though CC!! This is fun

I knew it was bad, but 312 ouch!! Don't worry Oliver Perez and Ryan Madsen are in and have two starts. I could lose 200 points in pitching just like that.

Spy If the season was over today, you would be right about Perez. We will see if he has any life left in him.

I am still curious how Kevin Deckel is listed with two teams? Does anyone else have two teams?

Thanks for the clarification CC. I hope the divorce was amicable. It was just confusing because in the overall standings he is still listed with your team. I think that that is pulling up his lifetime standings as well.
