Re: The Latest FAAB Update On Improvements
Here's the latest FAAB update:
As I announced in Las Vegas, the new FAAB setup is complete and I went through it with IT on Friday morning. It has all the features that we asked for, including your team and free agents side-by-side, drop 'n drag features that allow you to move any of your Conditional Bids up or down. Drop 'n drag that allows you to move your conditional bid to the top bid and the price of that conditional bid automatically moves to the price of what you had the top bid at. There are other features, but those are the big ones.
We tested it out on Sunday when FAAB ran and all went well. The IT department is still tweaking a few things, but the goal is to have this new setup live before the weekend. You can continue to make any FAAB bids this week on the current setup and we guarantee that those will remain intact even when we transfer the new software in. No worries there, so keep working on this week's bids if you want. But we are looking good for the new FAAB software by the weekend.
I know this is VERY important to you and we promised it to you. From what I can see, it's done the way you wanted it. Kudos again to everyone who specifically detailed what was needed to save time on Sundays. We really think that this new setup/software along with the later FAAB deadline of 10 pm ET will make life easier for most people on Sundays. We look forward to your feedback as soon as you start using the new FAAB setup and we'll tweak where needed if it's needed. Thanks all.
I know some folks wanted this done a week ago, but the thing I love about our team is that when we do make things live they work. That didn't always happen in a different lifetime with a different company, so I appreciate all the testing we do before going live. I think you will, too. Good luck all and let's save time together on Sundays.

All kidding aside, we're all looking forward to the new product coming out this weekend. We appreciate the efforts and hope the end product lives up to the expectations. Thanks for helping make it happen.

Any way to add % owned back to the list that we can sort players by? Why was that removed, seems like a useful sort to me?

As stated on the other thread, yes that will be added on a second tab of data.Bobby D wrote:Any way to add % owned back to the list that we can sort players by? Why was that removed, seems like a useful sort to me?

In a bad mood this morning and this exchange came to mind so i'll be a dick and say i'm the team in 49th and you're in 277th.bjoak wrote:Matthew Bannister. I've been here since 2005. I don't need to reread the rules every year to know how to play. I've finished in the top half of the main event eight out of eight times. Can you say the same about your two on-line championships you've done? But you reread the rules every year so it's probably more worthwhile for you to pony up the $$$$.mattjb wrote:Cunningly hidden in the secret section called 'rules' to throw people off the scent. They even put NEW FOR 2014 just to make it a bit more secretive.bjoak wrote:For those of us not so active on the message board these days, can you point us to one place where any new rules are easily explained? Also, there is a FAAB period next week for all teams, even the Saturday, March 29th teams? Is there a new FAAB deadline time?
Always amazes me that people are willing to spend $$$$ without bothering to read the rules.
Morning.
