I think my Massotto pick has raised some eyebrows, but I knew that I could draw out a few more of the NY guys to throw in money if I fell on the sword and made the pick.

You're an astute man, Rob, despite how these guys like to bust my balls, my NY League 1 Team is deadly! I'll be right there at the top of the standings for you, if not in the hunt for the overall with this one. I am destined to be "The People's Champion" in 2014!

And for the record, Lowry, my Main Event Team in NY is better than either one of the ones you drafted, so pipe down. Wouldn't be surprised if in addition, my LV League 4 team gives Childs a run for his money as well once it gets rolling.

That was nearly the longest awaited scoop of all time...I've looked at many teams with better drafts, but said teams were just ineffective in the late rounds. If a team can't finish the draft, how can they handle FAAB? I guess it really is the drafter and not the draft we are backing. I'll take Rick Thomas' March 22 LV 2 Roundtrippers.

Too funny. While watching this draft after jumping in with the Lindy/Juprinka combo, I was sitting back amused after noticing one of the best players in the game hadn't had a team taken yet. I was happily waiting to grab him in just a few picks. Not only does Shawn make us wait 8 hours, but then he grabs my guy and reminds Dave that he's out there as well. Thanks for nothing Shawn.

Alright, I'm going to back some of my NYC brethren at this turn as I know they won't let me down.

We'll start with my bud and neighbor from the mecca of fantasy sports... Farmingville, NY.

The team of his we'll be backing is off to a rocky start (for a whole 6 days ) but has Trout, some real serious firepower in the OF outside of Trout, underappreciated pop at each IF position, and a bevy of those young upside pitchers I so loved to build my teams with this year.

He didn't draft a closer you say? Granted. I still give him a hard time about that. But he did draft Fields, Broxton, and Crain and there's additional help this week out there on the waiver wire (which I will now be on his case to spend for) so I feel he'll have that covered.

So with all that, we'll go with Mr. Dobies "ALL IN Main - LV Lg 1".
