I have Yunel Escobar on a roster. Totally, my bad.
Until today, Escobar had scored one run this year. He has driven in one run this year.
And those only came about only because he was lucky enough to hit a homer on April 5.
He is one for his last 10 and scored his second run of the season today.
My roster now shows that he is 'on fire'.
I don't know what the minimum requirement is for being 'on fire', but I think Escobar has achieved that status.
It would be very kind of the NFBC to allow us to insert our own emblems for players on our roster.
One suggestion would be for Yunel Escobar to actually be on fire. As I plan to replace him on my roster with somebody that could match his production in one night. The thought of seeing a cartoon face of Escobar in flames as I hit the 'drop' button would put a smile on my face.
It would also epitomize his contribution to my team.
For players that we cannot replace and are driving us mad, like Brad Miller, or Allen Craig, or Joe Mauer...A middle finger would suffice.
For players like Kershaw, Sale, or anybody that is hurt that we have to hold onto, a picture of a screw (literally or figuratively) would do nicely.
These suggestions would not enhance our fantasy play....But it sure would make us feel a whole lot better about it.

Re: Define 'On Fire'
Coulda sworn I saw the 'fire' icon next to one of the TJ pitchers. Rationale: 'all the damage he could do is done.'

Re: Define 'On Fire'
I mentioned the On Fire situation to Greg last year, and he said he doesn't control who gets the symbol next to their name (either does Tom)...he didn't really say who does, at least I don't recall.
I do like your idea though Dough.
