Normally a pretty good lineup but Reyes and Gyorko are not playing well so far this year. For your sake we gotta hope they break out starting tonight.
Good upside however.
Best of luck!

congrats to motorboat on the $50 winner and Todd Z on the $25 entry. Once again I finish third in that one. I feel like Tom K in the magazine drafts....close but no cigar!

Thanks guys ! In baseball over the past several years I have been sticking with the $350 price point in the OC. Last year was my best finish overall at 26th out of 1140 teams, and I won my league. I have less experience at the 15-team format, but I'm excited to give it a shot next year ;)

Congrats. Who were our lucky winners this week? Post names here and congrats. Lord Zola, I presume?

If you want to use the free entry in the NFBC Primetime next year you can certainly do that rather than the Main Event. We'd even give you the extra $100 to spend on other NFBC events. Congrats on the win and we are happy to have both of you back for 2015. Nice job all and thanks again to Fanduel.com for providing this fun weekend contest.

We'll do the $25 contest again next Friday night. Thanks all.

Yeah, twas me.

Thanks!

It's sort of like the Ivy League team making the NCAA tourney. Everyone gets all excited and pretends they have a chance but we all know what happens.

I've been on a bit of a cold streak and needed a slump-buster so I used Jay Bruce who I've been panning for over a year. Somehow it worked despite the Golden Sombrero from the guy.

Now to start working on being the first entry into the AL and NL leagues

Does Primetime have online drafting options like the Main Event ?

Also, are there caps on total number of teams in Main Event and Primetime contests ? Looks like 240 (20 leagues) for Primetime this year and 420 (28 leagues) for Main Event.

Congrats Motorboat & Todd !

Lord Zola, w/ that lucrative writing gig you got for the WWL I expect you to BACK OFF now and give us poor bastards a shot ;)

2 wks in a row I've used the best SP (Stras/Wiley), even my alternate plan of Ubaldo woulda worked (why'd did I bring him up  ) but the hitters have been shitters. Taking out Blackmon for Giancarlo was NOT a good move

One of these wks I'll get the hitters rt.....of course that'll be the wk I use the SP who gets shelled

This is a great merger w/ FD Greg and certainly adds a lil zaz to Fri nights!
Always be closing.

Congrats Jonathan and Todd. Welcome to the 2015 NFBC.

Jonathan, we sold out the Main Event this year at 420 teams. Maybe we'll increase it a bit next year; we'll see. The Primetime prizes were based on 312 teams and we did not reach our goal but still guaranteed the prizes. I would think a similar prize pool will be provided by the Primetime next year and hopefully we sell that one out next year.

Thanks and congrats. We'll definitely do the $25 contest this Friday night again.

Greg,

Any thought to a lower price point but more entries?
Say for example $5 90 entries pays top 2 for some draft champions entries? Those draft champions seemed to be popular.

Anything is possible and you guys are showing us what works and what doesn't work. The $50 entry didn't work as well as planned, while the $25 entries are working. I think if folks are going to put a lot of time and effort into it each Friday, a worthy prize like a $1,600 entry seems to be worth the effort. When that no longer works, we'll see what Fanduel says. Thanks.
