I've seen enough of Hanley Ramirez and the same kind in baseball. Won't run out a hit to first base. Won't even try to break up a double play. 6 Errors to date. Why? Because its his contract year and the Dodgers haven't offered another. Why should they?
He's making 16 million this year and acts like he's being offended on not making more. If I was a billion dollar owner I'd be taking him to court for breach of contract and asking for damages!! And No I don't own him in any leagues!

You'd think with the Yankees in play for a shortstop next year he'd be busting it.
Isn't Tulo a FA next ear too?

Ramirez is past his prime, Not many teams will be willing to pay him, and the Dodgers know it. the past 4 seasons he has been a fantasy bust. Currently hes 10th rd value this year in a 15 team league.
Re: Hanley Ramirez holding back!
I disagree. Not with the Ramirez assessment, but with owners willingness to sign such a player. Like fantasy owners, they'll see what he's done in the past and hope for that in the future.Outlaw wrote:Ramirez is past his prime, Not many teams will be willing to pay him, and the Dodgers know it. the past 4 seasons he has been a fantasy bust. They'll overlook the weeks on the disabled list. They'll overlook his general lack of hustle.
They'll sign him to too long of a contract for too much money....It's the way of the baseball world.

He will be 31 yrs old, Teams are learning, the tide has turned. He'll get some money but nothing big... If I'm a GM I don't touch him... plus he still has yet to get his yearly injury, will most surely come sometime this season.DOUGHBOYS wrote:I disagree.
