Overall Historical Ratings

Post by Spyhunter » Thu Sep 21, 2006 3:10 pm

I was looking at the threads around how NFBC rates people for their historical performance. And I was wondering - should people who have 2 managers get any historical ranking for their finishes? I think it is impossible to determine credit or blame for 2 manager teams, so I would remove them from the historical rating system.

I know everyone will go nuts on me for suggesting this, but instead, perhaps give a suggestion that makes sense...

Spy Well, you are correct, this is the reason some folks feel the Lifetime Standings are whacky as they have a Lifetime Rank lower than they've finished in any year. But we've seen where partners later split and take their own teams and it's best to have their data on file and give them equal credit when they were partners. So for now we'll continue to rank both partners within the Lifetime Standings and assign a placing for each person.
