Not unbelievable. The Yanks buy aging stars and aging stars get hurt.
Ha! Those aging players are the south pole to the young Tommy John candidates north pole....

Chris Getz has decided to retire.

Now I have a DC team with two retired players on it.

After he was sent down, he heard I cut him from my team. That was probably the final straw. :P
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Never ever saw something like that and pretty sure I'm not the only one, the bench of all my non-DC teams have all 5 or 6 players on DL, completely insane, RMartin, Wieters, Fernandez, Trumbo, Kipnis, Gee...does not help to have Crain on some bench but still crazy...and to top it all, lost 3 to 5 SP starts on some teams during the week to injuries or weather (start pushed back to next week) from Fernandez (no bench sub), Gee, Hudson, Cingrani (weather) and Wainwright (weather).

Some big decisions coming ahead...who to drop...

Danny Salazar sent down to the minors. Not too good for a 9th Rd pick.

Except for the money, this is almost comical. These are the SP I drafted in my $1K satellite league:

Fernandez
Cashner
Paxton
Pineda
Nova

Also, Alex Wood for good measure.

The only SP left on my team from draft day is Hutchison.

I'm in second place currently. This slide will be long, slow and ugly.

Maybe we just need a big 'do-over' where everyone can re-draft their teams. Next up: handing out a trophy to all 15 teams in each league.

I figured something was wrong with him after seeing we wasted a pick on him in the Friday FanDuel.

Carlos Quentin left after tweaking his groin Sunday. Could miss more time.
