Blue Jays to face more challenges

After being shut out 3 out of their last 7 games Toronto was looking forward to getting a fully healthy lineup now that OF Colby Rasmus is on a rehab assignment preparing to return as early as Monday.

Both RA Dickey and Adam Lind left early from Saturday's game at Baltimore with undetermined injuries.

If the Blue Jays are to maintain their lead atop the AL East, they may be relying on organizational depth to do so.

X-rays on Lind's right foot came back negative, and he hopes to be in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, John Lott of the National Post reports.

Dickey said the tightness in his groin is mild, and that he is optimistic he will make his next start, John Lott of the National Post reports.
