Tom and I were lucky enough to score two tickets to the All-Star Game in Minneapolis tomorrow. Hopefully it's a little warmer tomorrow than it is here today. Yikes. Anyway, if anyone else is going to be there tomorrow shoot me an email at
[email protected] and we'll hook up for a beer. See ya there.
Should be a fun night. Neither one of us have been to Target Field yet, so we're looking forward to that. I'm not a big All-Star Game guy no matter what the sport, but it will be fun to be there to see the game's biggest stars. Heck, there's even a few Brewers in this game!!
Enjoy and with any luck we'll meet some of our NFBC customers.

Sorry we didn't hook up last night Scott, but it was a fun time. Mother Nature also cooperated with some nice weather just before the start of the game after a nasty early afternoon. Beautiful time at the park and we liked Target Field. However, someone explain to me why they needed to build a 20-foot wall in right field and right center field? Wouldn't that be a better ballpark if the fence line was the same for right field as it is for left field? I think you'd have more offense in that park that way. Trout's first triple should have been a home run and same with Lucroy's double, but both went off that monster of a wall. I'm not a fan of it.
But great time at the All-Star Game and it was great to give Derek Jeter the sendoff he deserved. He was clutch again. He hit a tough pitch off Wainwright down the right field line, made a hell of a play on McCutchen on the first play of the game and added a bloop single. He's now 13-for-27 in All-Star Games. Pretty impressive, Mr. October.

They would rather have Joe Mauer hit doubles than home runs, its the Twins way.
