a weird evening.....

Post by 751542 » Sun Oct 01, 2006 3:51 pm

this is the 1st sunday night in 6 months i am not reviewing moves, setting lineups, checking pitching matchups etc. etc. and i feel lost. can we draft tom.??? we all would probably be better prepared than in march. i miss it already!!!! the countdown begins to draft day. and remember there is no such thing as an "off-season." i guess i root my 2 futures bets in. san diego @ 12-1 to win the world series and the A's @ 12-1 to win the world series, each for a hundy. congrats to all the money winners and hope you ALL had a great time in this wonderfully run contest. see ya in vegas!!! start chilln the coronas now!! RT,

Your going to have to take some time off to count your winnings. That looks like it could take a while, congrats on a great year!

a weird evening.....

I am looking forward to the playoffs and just having loyalties to my (real-life) team. I want to relax for a while and welcome the time off from fantasy. That said, as stated in my previous post, I'm going to start realizing how bad everything about winter sucks in mid-January. No baseball, no fantasy, no 4400, no ice cream, no time off from work, rain, crappy running weather, you name it.

At that point, I will really look forward to lounging in Vegas and thinking about the good half of the year that is upon me.
Chance favors the prepared mind.

Your local team is my pick to win the world series. I like their top 7 pitchers which to me is the biggest key in the postseason and think they will be able to manufacture some runs when needed.
