Has anyone ever considered a format which looked at drafting only starting line ups, no bench players, let the injuries ride as they happen? It would be a separate option from the existing draft champion leagues. Not sure if the interest would be there, but I do see people post, with concerns of setting line ups, etc. This would be done after draft, no line up changes, nothing. It may increase leagues people entered. May also have little interest. Was thinking similar to draft champions, in that there would be league and overall prizes, drafting with 8 hours time limit like we do now. 23 rounds may mean more leagues.
I guess one drawback would be potentially cannibalizing draft champion leagues. Maybe though with overall prizes in both, we get entries for both.
Draft Champion Starters Only Option?
Re: Draft Champion Starters Only Option?
I proposed a 35 or 36 rd draft where you added positions from the original 23 we have now and count all stats but that was poo pooed pretty quick, not sure why as the people that don't want to spend time setting lineups during the season would like this format. Add 1 c 1 mi, 1 ci, 3 of, 2 dh and 5 pitchers or something along them lines and count all stats.

Yeah...seems like something could work, but I still like 50 rounders, would just add a couple others if format was different.
Either way, I am ready to get going!
