Of the four "counting" offensive categories (R, HR, RBI, and SB) as a league summing up totals in each, New York 1 was in last place among the 22 NFBC Main Event leagues for three of them and next to last in the other.



On the other end, Chicago League 2 finished first in two (HR, RBI) and second in another (R).



Means absolutely nothing, but I thought it was interesting. I was expecting it to be more spread out than that.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
