$500 DC AUCTION • Sunday, Feb 15 (SOLD OUT)
• Sunday Feb 15, 6:30 eastern time
• Auction will take place on RT Sports (est'd 5 hrs), followed by a 27 round reserve draft on the NFBC site
• We'll do the draft portion as a faster slow draft, see below.
• 1st-3rd pays • $4,000 - $1,500 - $500
$500 DC Auction
1) Michael DeCavalcante
2) David VanDerStuyf
3) Rick Hayden
4) Mike Edelman
5) KJ Duke
6) Dave Potts
7) Matt Modica
8) Chris Piper
9) John Pausma
10) Danny B • J Magoon
11) Jim Jeckewicz
12) Errol Thompson
13) Rob Giese

I'll keep the draft portion moving at a good pace. We'll shoot for at least 5 rounds each day so we should be able to finish prior to (or at worst) the following weekend. I will text those needing reminders to keep us moving. This league isn't for you if: 1) you can't check in regularly, or 2) you're too slow to keep up the pace, or 3) won't use auto when your pick is close and you won't be around for awhile.

As this looks like the only DC Auction that won't be on a weekday, I'll blow the last of my pre-season budget and join in the fray.
Please add Deadheadz to the list.
(might spark some interest)

Just curious, with these hybrid auction/snakes, is the KDS done before or after the auction?
I can see a benefit either way but would imagine most managers would like to know where they will be snake picking before they draft all their starters.
Does the group vote on this or is it set into the rules for every league to be the same?
Thx

No KDS, slots are randomly assigned by RTS software for nominations and that carries over to the draft portion.Deadheadz wrote:.

Just a heads up to those going into RTS auctions.
Yasmany Tomas shows as 3B only at RTS but is OF only at NFBC. You'll need to have another 3B plus another CI to legally roster this guy. If you also draft a guy like Josh Harrison who is 3B/OF then you're good.
The commish will likely already know to tell you but the sooner you know the better.
Just want to avoid chaos if anyone missed that on draft day.

Maybe you should offer chocolate dipped strawberries to the next two people to register.
I'm guessing you can get them at a good discount the day after Valentine's.

Ok, we are tentatively full.
Everyone needs to register and pay for the league on the NFBC site, it is listed near the bottom of the pull down menu on the signup page.
Also, the last three guys on the list need to send me their email address so I can send out email invites for the RT Sports site which hosts the auction portion of the draft. After you get the invite either log-in to your RT account or register for free, then accept the invite to join league.
