Wow, we are really getting good response to the Auction Championship leagues in Las Vegas and we are now one step closer to a fourth full league on the First Weekend. We are down to ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT now on Thursday Night, although a couple of owners are listed as tentative. We'll finalize those once we sell this out, but all is looking great. Thanks all and good luck.

So, since the remaining ones will surely fill out, that is two more full leagues than last year, correct?
Wonderful....

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Correct, 11 leagues would be far more than expected and a record for this format. We couldn't be more excited about growing the auction format in this national contest. Growing this prize pool is an honor.Edwards Kings wrote:So, since the remaining ones will surely fill out, that is two more full leagues than last year, correct?

As for JD's assertion that we left leagues/money on the table, there's nothing wrong with creating demand for products and having people sign up early and commit. There's also nothing wrong with selling out leagues early and reaching your guarantees. If we do that with every NFBC product, we will feel great and next year we'll budget for additional leagues. But the industry will know that if you want to compete here you have to plan ahead. These leagues fill up quickly these days and the Online Championship and other online leagues can be last minute impulse buys. When we sell out the auctions, Main and private leagues, we sell out and move on. Nothing wrong with that.
For years we sold out auction spots the week of the events or even days before. This is a good feeling. If anyone was left out, we're sorry. But don't wait so long next year because you can see that when spots are gone, they are truly gone. Thanks all and let's keep selling out leagues. We like that.

Greg,
Was not intimating you left money on the table, sorry if it came out that you. Was just saying that with the demand it's possible more leagues would have filled. It seems as though the Auction Championship is finally gaining traction, which I am very glad to see.

Never tagged with him in Auction. Tagging with Jupinka in Ultimate Auction and Mike Edelman in Diamond Auction.

That's right...my bad. It was KJ who teamed with Alan last year in the Auction we were in.ALL-IN JD wrote:Never tagged with him in Auction. Tagging with Jupinka in Ultimate Auction and Mike Edelman in Diamond Auction.
Memory is the first thing to go and I cannot for the world remember what the second thing is. I hope it is not my "Little Friend"...
