WHERE IS GORDON GEKKO?

Post by Dyv » Wed Mar 17, 2004 10:39 am

I just wanted everyone to know I was in Kalamazoo, MI earlier today and I saw Gekko with Elvis.

Who cares who Gekko really is, if he exists or what team he drafts?

My staff hasn't had time to research his staff yet, so I'm just moving on as if I were going to worry about my own team.

Good luck - Vegas tomorrow for me...

17 degrees when I get on the plane, 84 degrees when I land.

Ahhhhh....

[/QUOTE]I'd be willing to bet your league would let you take Damian Miller and Bobby Higginson together with the #12 overall pick. I know trading isn't allowed, but I'd figure out a way to get you an exemption if you were heart set on it, lol.

D That would be good. If we get Schilling you could trade us Barajas - he makes Curt better.

Is it possible that Gordon's staff is his ***** ? Maybe he talks to his member, and vice versa...

OK I'm gonna let the cat out of the bag: Gordon Gekko is really Jeff from Richmond.

BS? not really. Your the one running his mouth. All we asked is what league you're in. I'm sorry we asked such a difficult question. Next time, we'll start with something easier.

Your psycho-babble is BS. Funny, but still BS.

You are probably a nice guy, but you seem to be way over your head when it comes to fantasy sports. This is not an opinion. I'm basing it on your WCOFF (359 out of 600) & WCOFB (22 out of 45) finishes last year.

My league is 5X5, 12 team NL only with an auction. Let me tell you, you better bring your "A" game when doing an auction. Straight drafts are much easier. As for my resume, I've finished in 3rd place in 2 of the last 3 years. I've been doing this for over 10 years now and I love every minute of it. Good luck to all of you this coming year.

In defense of Gekko the guy that talks the most "smack" is not always the stupidest one. He may be especially dangerous because if he backs it up this year, then no one will hear the end of it!

In know this from experience, in the league I was in AL only Auction I was the one always talking smack. Let me tell you it was a very tough league with a bunch of know it all sports junkies.

The results in the last 10 years : 8 top 3 finishes and 3 championships including last year when I talked smack all year then backed it up... and ran away with it. My league will never hear the end of it now. Beware the "smack talker".... sometimes.

Well...Gekko is back. As expected, many owners were not properly prepared for the draft. Got the players we wanted...just have to stay away from the injury bug.
