That was an excellent, though wordy synopsis Shawn. Here's the CliffsNotes version for those with only passing interest:
CC's Desperados wrote:I looked at this last October when Joe was posting on the boards. His team was outplayed by The Last Resort over the last 3 weeks. The Last Resort won some key points by playing well. Team Money was looking for a life raft over the last couple of days to save his franchise. It was a complete joke. It's almost like he wanted some teams to try to help him and the some other teams not to try.

I asked a fair question and instead of an answer got bombarded with vitriol from some people of questionable character.

All i wanted to know is if there was truly something shady going on why would the person who was the victim want to play again? In a sense I was defending the accused in a sense because it seemed disingenuous to accuse somebody of something and then agree to play with them again.

Play or don't play, but please leave my name out of it.
Unfortunately you keep putting your name into it. As far as vitriol, when you come at people with vitriol, what do you expect in return? Even here, when defending yourself (and you do seem awful defensive for someone who has stated continuously that he doesn't care about the message boards or what others think of him), you question the character of others.

You are putting yourself out there as a pariah and a troll. I'm not trying to be insulting here. Honestly I'm not. I'm merely trying to give you some outside perspective. Please feel free to take it as you choose.

As far as why the accuser would try to once again play with those he accused (as he did on the other thread that was deleted), it's hard for me to understand what makes these accusers tick and the thought processes behind this whole unfortunate drama. Both then and now.

PS... Shawn, thank you for that analysis. Unlike the accusations themselves, there seemed to be a lot of effort put towards obtaining the facts behind the whole situation.

It's simple Glen. It was sour grapes from losing and after having time to reflect back and realizing there was not "they don't want me to win" mentality, common sense was applied and the incredible payout that the NFBC offers in the Platinum was too much to pass up!! :-)

Guys,

This week I made a tongue in cheek comment about making this a 12 team event. Little did I know that it would resurrect what we would all like to leave for dead. I will keep all future comments to myself. Time to get back to preparing for Baseball 2015

Everyone has had their say. Lets let it go.

Child's- I need you to put that much research into the SuperHigh 5 at the Meadowlands next March. If the carryover continues to grow ( currently $120,000 ) we can even surpass the Platinum payoff and we can all be winners!

I know Joe Berg will even trust me, I'll extend him an invite to our syndicate! ;)

Time for Pitchers and Catchers boys!

Numbers trump opinions every day. That's why we're STATS.

Joe has asked everyone to move on and he has. He's ready to compete again, as is Chad. It's time to move on and as Sack says include them back in the syndicate. I know this group better than my own brothers. I think it will happen and we'll all move forward in a good, competitive way. It's TIME TO PLAY BALL!!

Thanks guys.

This whole thing has led me to question my commitment to Jurispinka.

Did you know Edwin Jackson was on our team last year at one point? And that he made a start? If that's not throwing the season, I don't know what is.

I warned you Bobby. And you thought Juprinkinski was the bomb.

Don't feel to bad, Bobby was able to use the Platinum entry as a nice tax write off against his great season!! :D :D :D

Oh yeah, that too. :?

Doesn't fit the story line though Bud, so we'll just ignore that little fact for now. ;)

Even Greg screws up your name, he is constantly leaving out the R.

For what it's worth, I believe you two can work this out. If not for yourselves, do it for the children.

Your dumb ass wasn't in the league? And you had the nerve to call me out for posting about a league i wasn't in.
Pot meet kettle....I thought KJ was the most pretentious d-bag here but you are giving him a serious run for his money.

That just made my day. You don't strike me as the kind of guy that can afford a league like this but i thought maybe you got a special needs discount so NFBC could get a tax write off.

Oh my God, that was an awesome post!!

I have quite a few very good friends in the league (you know,a friend, something you have none of except for your mommy) so I can actually post wherever I would like. Keep joining your $150 leagues and donating to the cause, JACKOFF! NFBC loves guys like you. 0-5 and counting. It's about the benjamins, A HOLE!!

It's so sad when women do drugs during pregnancy....they end up with J.D. I'm sure your mom wanted you to be named after your father but didn't know who he was. Nice of you to adapt her motto for your user name "All in"

I know you lack the graduate degree I have but for the love of god it's jag off not jack off. Jesus Christ if you are going to try to insult someone do it correctly. Stop wasting money on fantasy baseball and go back to school. Or for god sakes don't have any more kids. The world has enough jag offs.

I don't know who this Yellow fellow is but he likes to insult people behind a computer keyboard. He talks about ROI like this is a business endeavor. 0-5 in DC's and he's knocking HOF-ers and anyone else who will respond to him. Like Jeff said come to the live events and show us who you are and how good you are. Insulting guys like Jeff will result in negative ROI at the very least. You owe this board an apology tough guy.
