Average number of SBs for league winners...169
It seems like a lot of owners jumped early to grab steals last year, but was it too early? Grabbing 50-60 SBs with one player, makes it a lot easier to reach a total needed to win, but do you loose out in other categories? I guess the balance and strategy is what some have mastered and use to win, and others like myself are still trying to figure out. Last year, Gekko picked Pierre with 8th pick of second round, the player I was targeting. I took Peavy (another story!)

Are Reyes, Crawford and players with 20 HR potential and 40+ SB's worthy of top 5 status? Top 10?
If you grab 50 SBs with one player, you will need to average about 9 SBs with every other player to get to 169. (That includes 2 C-s and a 1B)
If you can get 75 SBs with 2 players, you will need to average 8 SBs with rest of team.
How do you go after SBs?
Say you grab Reyes, (60 SBs) Rd1, OF with 25 SBs in Rd2 and a middle IF in round 9 with 25, SB's, you will have 110 total SBs, and need about 5 SB for each additional player. Do you other categories suffer? What if you can't get Reyes or another SB threat in first two rounds?
I would like to hear some other strategies. Locking up 100+ with 3 players (1 in mid round may not go as planned...)
