Let's set a KDS deadline of Thursday @ noon ET, then Greg can announce draft slots on Thursday afternoon and we immediately begin picking our team groups on the message boards. The player draft will start next week and we should be able to wrap that up in a few days.

Email Greg your preferred draft slots ASAP from 1 to 15 ▬ and don't forget that top slots will pick last in Rds 2, 3 and 4.

You would think that only drafting four pieces would make draft less complicated. In all actuality it made it far more complicated than standard draft.

I thought the same thing. I typically do not spend much time on KDS, and more often that not just go 1-15. With this league, and with the unique drafting order (1-15, 15-1, 15-1, 15-1), I'm really not sure whether it is better to be on the front end, the back end, or somewhere in the middle. Kind of curious if others used a similar KDS as myself.

There are more complexities than meet the eye, other than a few obvious picks at the beginning and end, it's impossible to predict how the draft will flow because you don't know what the best fit will be for each team until a team's first pick or several picks are off the board, including your own. I won't know which slot I want until the draft is over!

I will list the KDS preferences next and give you some analysis there. I wish every league worked this well with KDS, but not EVERY owner is happy. While 8 people got their first preference, one person actually got his last preference. Unreal.

This league is scheduled to start on Monday at 10 am ET and we'll use the new online draft room at 8 hours per pick (obviously you'll pick faster than that, but that's what it's set at). Okay, here's the facts:
8 owners got their 1st preference
2 owners go their 3rd preference
1 owner got his 4th preference
1 owner got his 5th preference
1 owner got his 6th preference
1 owner got his 12th preference
1 owner got his 15th preference
On average, everyone got a preference of 3.7, which is unreal. But the last two owners were randomly pulled 14th and 15th and unbelievably the last person pulled got his last preference. I'll let these two owners reveal who they are if they want and why they didn't want those two draft spots when others had them somewhere near the top.

Despite the first picks being at the end of rounds 2,3, and 4 I felt the first two spots were so valuable that I would prefer to draft there.

After that I preferred to be on the other end thus 15 and 14 - and maybe I should have put 13 on there as well but I always like drafting in the middle all things being equal and NO they aren't in this setup BUT I think the middle pick every single round would be the best I could do off the ends.
