And Colorado plays dead on the road, right Mr. Lohse and Mr. Garza?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I am the proud owner of both Mat Latos and Steve Cishek. Cancelled out great performances the prior day from Johnny Cueto and Sonny Gray. The glass half-full outlook? At least these guys were pitching against the weakest hitting lineup in the league. Imagine how much worse it would have been against a good offense!

I read this when getting up this morning...

'Latos also struggled this spring in Grapefruit League play, yielding 18 hits, six walks, and 12 earned runs across 15 1/3 innings (or four starts). The final line of his profile in the 2015 Rotoworld Baseball Draft Guide read like this: “He should only be drafted if he comes at a major discount.”
Maybe more of our projections will look this smart.'

They are patting themselves on the back for that?
What they are saying is draft Latos only if falling below his ADP. The infamous 'value pick'.
Just what kind of 'value' are Latos owners getting by beating ADP here?
If this site would have said, "Stay far,far away from Latos at any price", THEN, they can pat themselves on the back. Right?
As is, those that took him as that 'value pick' are screwed and this site is pretty much saying, "Well, at least you got him cheap!"
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Well said. When an SP gives up 7 ER in 1/3 IP in his first start with new club it doesn't matter if you got him for free. So much for the concept of "value picks". There is no value in a performance like that.
