I hear what you're saying but personally I think the structure is fine. I wouldn't find any appeal in a proposal that pays out $10 thus still resulting in a $15 net loss. Perhaps paying places 2-9 $50 as a double up would be an option, but once again I'm fine with how it is. Also, I'm sure many of not a majority of participants have deposited more than the $50 bonus money. Consider that even someone that would cash $10, would still be losing $15 per week. If they only deposited the minimum $50, they'd be out of money after 4 weeks anyway. If it doesn't fill in future weeks then it doesn't fill, but $10 payouts wouldn't be the thing that would save it.

I love the setup. Great opportunity to get a Main Event entry at a huge discount ! I can't wait for another shot next week !

Your opponents ARE DFS sharks.Deadheadz wrote:
And even if it does fill every week with non-NFBCers winning the top prizes will those of us still playing be inclined to keep going back when our opponents are potentially DFS sharks?
And stop being such a wet blanket, the season just started...another fabulous one for the NFBC, Tom's rehabbing his back out in Palm Springs w/ lithe physical therapists

Grab your fav bev & ENJOY

DFS is little more than gambling. Personally I would never do it for baseball, but if it helps the NFBC, then bring it on for the masses.
And no matter how much research you do, and you should do a lot of it, how could anyone predict that Matt Harvey going against the Phillies turned out to be a bad deal (although he did get a win).
Not my thing. Give me the season long grind anytime.
