Minor fixes
Minor fixes
Hi. A couple of small things;
1. On the old style free agenta page: a) doesn't appear the the "date added" field is being updated. 2. Can we add the download to excel function here 3. Can u add games started??
2. % owned. I see many players that I know are 100% owned being reported on my team page as 99.5%. It makes me question if all of the ownership and start stats are correct. For example I am 100% sure that ellsbury and Dickerson are owned everywhere. If you told me this was for all leagues including 12 team then maybe they are right but long ago we told these stats were calculated by type of league
3. I don't use the page but I noticed on the new free agent page that % started isn't there
Thanks in advance

Re: Minor fixes
Per cent owned has always been an enigma to me. I agree that we were advised that per cent owned is based on the type of league. So main event leagues should reflect main event leagues and some others ? As an example, in one of my main events, it says Will Middlebrooks is owned in 64.8% of leagues. That doesn't seem right to me. So does it include 12 team leagues ?

Re: Minor fixes
I believe we have percent owned in all contests for all 481 leagues. So what Chris is talking about with a star like Jacoby Ellsbury isn't including the one NL-only league he wasn't drafted in. I'm sure we asked for all leagues for that category, not a listing of just that contests' percent owned.lrr wrote:Per cent owned has always been an enigma to me. Still confused. In my main event, it says Will Middlebrooks in owned in 64.8% of leagues. So Will Middlebrooks is owned in 64.8% of what leagues? Thanks.
Re: Minor fixes
That can't be or else nobody would be 100% owned because of the AL and NL leagues.Greg Ambrosius wrote:I believe we have percent owned in all contests for all 481 leagues. 1. On the old free agent page, we'll get the "date added" updated. I'm not sure what happened there because it was filling in the first week, but yes we'll get that updated. The download to Excel function will not be added to the old free agent page. I will explain this week, but that won't be added there. Games Started are under the Standard stats listings. Just click on that and it's there.Chthroop wrote:Hi. A couple of small things;

2. There is a Test League that didn't draft Ellsbury and that is screwing up our % Owned. We will eliminate that Test League this week.
3. It's an odd question since you say you don't use the new free agent page, but it is under the "Overview Stats" tab.
I will get the exact way we are breaking down the % Owned, but it definitely is by Auctions (all mixed auctions not including AL and NL), all Satellites, all Draft Champions, Live Drafts. They are being broken down by style of game, but again I'll get those exact listings from IT this week and post them. I was in Chicago late last week and this was brought up in a meeting, along with the Excel Free Agents function.

Re: Minor fixes
NL and AL are still showing 0% owned for all players.
Re: Minor fixes
Thanks Greg. A test league makes a ton of sense. Per #3, I am trying to learn the new style but as I usually do via an iPhone, I for some reason find the new way harder than the old way. I am trying to not be that guy who never really tries the new stuff and always complains about it (trust me, I have run into this many times).. Thanks for the clean upGreg Ambrosius wrote:1. Re: Minor fixes
Okay, the Test Leagues have been removed from % Owned. This should be right now for all contests.
% Owned is determined separately for these groups:
Group 1: Main Event, Online Championship, Auction Championship, Ultimate, Diamond, Platinum and Supers.
Group 2: All Satellite Leagues
Group 3: All Draft Champions Leagues
Group 4: $1300 AL Auction
Group 5: $1300 NL Auction
Group 6: Primetime
Hopefully this helps. We can always tweak these groupings later, but that's how we have them set for 2015. Enjoy.

Re: Minor fixes
Thanks for the percentage ownership groupings. I had wondered why the percentage ownership in my main event and supers for certain players was lower than I expected. The inclusion of the twelve team online championship with these other leagues explains it.

Re: Minor fixes
Yeah and going forward it probably makes sense to move that to the Primetime listing, since both are 12-teamers. I'll make a note of that for next year.lrr wrote:Thanks for the percentage ownership groupings. Re: Minor fixes
I like primetime separate. I would like online championship separate and certainly the main event separate. Would be fine lumping the contained cash leagues in with main event, or in the case of 12 team super, being lumped with primetime. There is a difference in general skill set in online championship and primetime. They should be separate.
